THE GODS 2: THE DARK SIDE Sees Mykel Shannon Jenkins Wake With Vengeance In The Official Trailer

Beginning Wednesday, Echelon Studios is proudly releasing The Gods 2: The Dark Side, the latest from actor and filmmaker Mykel Shannon Jenkins (Undisputed 3: Redemption, The Paper Tigers). Jenkins is joined by much of the cast from the previous film including and not limited to Casey Ford Alexander, Nicoye Banks, Bryce Clyde Jenkins, Ernest Thomas and Kevin Interdonato. The film is host to an event screening today along with a Q&A with Jenkins in attendance, coupled with its simultaneous release on the FAST platform, Tubi TV. CROSSFIRE: Father And Daughter Throw Hands In The Official North American Release Trailer

Vision Films’ latest order of business now pertains to director Yadhu Krishnan’s new action thriller, Crossfire. The distributor is slating a North American VOD release for May 12 along with a TBA DVD rollout in early June. A Case For Better Action Movies: Kim Hong-Sun’s PROJECT WOLF HUNTING Is A Rousing, Gory Action Horror Spectacle

Project Wolf Hunting arrives on Digital, Blu-ray & DVD February 14 from Well Go USA Entertainment. TIFF programmer Peter Kuplowsky’s use of the term “bloody bedlam” in his notes for director Kim Hong-sun’s Midnight Madness title, Project Wolf Hunting, is something I never thought would stick with me. Its recurrence comes now, juxtaposed alongside citations in various online blurbs and reviews comparing the film’s propulsive violence to that of Timo Tjahjanto or even Jesse Johnson. They’re not wrong, and to add, the levels of violence this film reaches certainly serve as a visual compliment to the film’s nascency as a potential franchise starter for action horror moviegoers looking to get their kick.
