Courtesy of Dazzler Media UK Film fans have the opportunity to support physical media and purchase the latest Horror/Action offering of the Dracula saga “The Last Voyage Of The Demeter” out now on DVD, Blu-Ray and HD. Based on the one chapter 7 in Bram Stoker’s Dracula “Captains Log” tells the story of the cursed ship and it’s passengers who transported the blood thirsty count to Whitby, London. Which is a breath of fresh air, a new story that hasn’t been done before on the screen. I had the opportunity to sit down and watch the film alongside my Horror fan dad and this is what we had to say about it. The opening of the film shows the aftermath of the shipwreck of the Demeter and the finding of the captains log. The cut to a much brighter second scene is somewhat a surprise taken that there […]

Mickey Keating’s new flick, Invader, feels more like a road thriller given the trailer. Then…THEN, you keep watching and it suddenly makes a little more sense. That’s the uptick you get in the footage below that shows our characters clearly dealing with someone who is not where they belong. Chills! Ana (Vero Maynez) is a long way from home, but eager to visit her cousin Camila in the Chicago suburbs. After Ana’s bus gets delayed, she arrives very late and begins to fear the worst when she can’t get ahold of Camila. Accompanied by Carlo (Colin Huerta), one of Camila’s co-workers, Ana decides to venture on foot to search for her cousin, encountering ominous signs, hostile locals, and the punishingly empty expanse of suburban America. When they arrive at Camila’s house, the night spirals into chaos when Ana and Carlo realize the bizarre and jaw-dropping truth. A lean, mean jolt […]

Taking a page from Kim Byung-woo’s 2013 thriller, The Terror Live, is director Kazutaka Watanabe with the explosive new thriller, Showtime 7. The campaign for this film has been running since late last year and the latest official trailer is now making the rounds. Watanabe directs Showtime 7 from his own script which casts Hiroshi Abe in the role of a former popular news anchor-turned-radio host who finds himself mitigating terroristic bomb threats with a mysterious caller. The description teases something even twistier will happen with Abe’s character in the last six minutes which, admittedly, has me curious to say the least. Also starring are Ryo Ryusei, Meri Nukumi, Mizuki Maehara, Tetsu Hirahara, Kouki Uchiyama, Tamae Ando, Mitsuru Hirata, Haruka Igawa, and Kotaro Yoshida. The movie is set to release on Friday in Japan.
