Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe 1 & 2 director Fede Alvarez is staking his claim in one of the most celebrated sci-fi franchises in history. Making her way back to Netflix is actress Jennifer Lopez following her thrilling escapades in Niki Caro’s The Mother. Lopez is directed by Brad Peyton now in the new sci-fi epic, Atlas, which launches on the streamer on May 24. Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it. Opinions on AI be damned, that’s Lopez in a mech suit which undoubtedly garners some attention from genre fans. Atlas also stars Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Gregory J. Filmed in 2022 and eventually introduced to the markets the following year, director Chan Tai-Lee is finally making headway this week at FilMart in Hong Kong with crime actioner, Fight For Tomorrow. Mandarin Motion Pictures, who is repping the film internationally, revealed the first teaser last week which you can view at the bottom of the page. Shi Saburo, a former tough guy who has been retired for several years has been working hard to break through difficulties, rediscover meaning in family, friendship and career, and understand the true meaning of tomorrow. Teaser: GOLDEN KAMUY Sequel Series Lands Fall Premiere On Japan’s WOWOW

Shigeaki Kubo’s latest manga adaptation, Golden Kamuy, has a new series in the works, and there’s a teaser online as well. The show will succeed the events of the movie which opened in January from Toho, and with Kubo joined by directors Kenji Katagiri, Ken Ochiai, and Yosuke Sato to direct their own episodes. Hailing from Credeus, Inc., the production label behind the Kento Yamazaki-led Kingdom trilogy from director Shinsuke Sato, Kubo’s Golden Kamuy is based on Satoru Noda’s award-winning Seinen manga out of Weekly Young Jump which ran from 2014 to last year. ARMED: Neil Mackay Unleashes Cold War Robot Terror In A Trio Of Teasers For The New Thriller

Sixty Minutes To Midnight and Death Hunt helmer Neil Mackay and his team have been stirring about for a month now, promoting the new action sci-fi horror thriller, Armed. The film hails from Rapid City Entertainment and is expected to release sometime in the Fall. A group of veteran marines steal a shipment of weapons from the military only to find a cold war era robot that hunts them down, determined to complete it’s mission. THE WAGES OF SIN Hits The Gas With An Adrenaline-Fueled Teaser!

Titled as it was for Henri-Georges Clouzot’s 1953 classic, such will be the case for hitmaker Julien Leclerq’s own iteration for Netflix with The Wages Of Fear. The first official teaser is out and marks another notch on the belt for Netflix as terrific as it continues to track with French action and adventure titles. It’s got Franck Gastambide, Alban Lenoir, Ana Girardot and Sofiane Zermani starring here for the story of a crack team of four people hired to transport nitroglycerine across the danger-laden deserts of South America within 24 hours, albeit without the appropriate safety equipment. The teaser lends plenty to what comes next and should guarantee a proper adrenaline rush by its March 29 launch. Take a look!

BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN Teaser Reveals Latest Actioner With Akshay Kumar And Tiger Shroff

Hindi barnburner action continues its run with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the latest from Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar. The film joins leads Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for the film which has since moved up its previous December 2023 to an April 10 release in time for the Eid Holiday. Of course there’s little to spot online in terms of plot so the teaser footage below is really all there is to go on, and there’s plenty to take from it if big scale action and brooding with a buddy twist is your thing. And you can tell that Kumar and Shroff end up as buddies, especially when they’re kicking whatever asses are in front of them in typical stylish and coordinated Bollywood fashion.
