DARK SECRETS: GAME OF DEATH CHAPTER 2: Official Trailer For Timo Rose’s Dark Martial Arts Horror Odyssey
I wasn’t aware there was even a sequel happening to Timo Rose‘s Game Of Death: The Six Doors To Hell until maybe a month or so ago when I started seeing little spells of sequel signage. To add, Rose and his cohorts have actually been at work crafting a whole saga of these films with a third film to go into production in 2026.
For this, the second of the lot, Dark Secrets: Game Of Death Chapter 2, is now on deck with a mix of new and returning cast members listing Maya Trojanowski and David Ruessel (Game of Death: The Six Doors To Hell), actors Lewis Santer (Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey 2, Pinocchio Unstrung, Poohniverse), Shehzad Bulut, Nadja Gallera (Monster on a Plane), Xenia Weigel, Dana Mae, Julie Deluz, Konstantin Korovilas and Matthias Schmidt. The announcement also touts special appearances by Norbert Weisser (Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List, John Carpenter’s The Thing) and Kaylee Williams (The Barn 2), with original music arranged and composed by SALEM’S POP, and additional music by Dave Neabore from renowned US punk band, DOG EAT DOG.
The film is also billed as both a prequel – set fourteen years prior to the events of the first film, as well as a sequel which takes place a year later, with visuals that definitely go much harder on the horror end of things.
“Two storylines collide… two worlds collide and it ends in a bloodbath,” reads the announcement. “It starts as an adventure movie and it turns into a bloody horror flick with demons. It’s also a homage to the 70s and 80s horror cinema…”
Dark Secrets: Game Of Death Chapter 2 is produced by Rose and by Nando Rohner, and co-produced by Trojanowski, and exec produced by Korovilas, along with Thomas Heigl, Nikolai Lindenfelser and Yasar Firat.
I love that Rose is continuing to bring action to the table here, and I’m digging the one-liner bit with the shotgun. I haven’t seen the first one yet but I do look forward to it more now, and I’m curious to see if the festivals here in the States will get to check it out for themselves.
Rose definitely pulls out more stops with some of the red stuff here as well, so check out the trailer below but mind your viewing surroundings a tad. Enjoy!
