DEEP STATE: Mark Strong Springs Into Action In The First Trailer For The International Thriller

Breaking away from film at present is actor Mark Strong with his latest role as an agent on the run in the upcoming espionage series, Deep State. The show marks a premiere move for Fox Networks Group who announced the series last year toward regional programming and with syndication slated for April in Europe and Africa, a trailer is now online to accomodate curious netizens.

What happens when a man who believes he has retired from MI6 is called back to do one more job to regain his life, only to discover that this job may mean he has no life to go back to.

Mark  Strong plays Max Easton, an ex-spy brought back into the game to avenge the death of his son, only to find himself at the heart of a covert intelligence war and a conspiracy to profit from the spread of chaos throughout the Middle East.

Rounding out the cast are Alistair Petrie, Anastasia Griffith, Amelia Bullmore, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Pip Torrens, Karima McAdams, Joe Dempsie and Lyne Renée. Hilary Bevan Jones executive produces with Tom Nash producing.

The UK trailer is region locked but Fox’s Belgian portal seems to work just fine as of this post. Take a look!
