DEVIL MAY CRY Official Trailer Revealed For Netflix Animated Series Streaming Next Month

Animated shows are another one of my usual hurdles but I did manage to get through a few of them in the past year. That said, I’ve never played the Devil May Cry games, but I reckon showrunner Adi Shankar’s latest episodic take should suffice even the most unengaged anime fan.

In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.

Devil May Cry hails from Studio Mir, with a voice cast led by the iconic Johnny Yong Bosch along with Scout Taylor-Compton, Hoon Lee, Chris Coppola, and the late Kevin Conroy. The show airs on Netflix beginning April 3. Enjoy the trailer!
