Deadline is reporting this week that IFC Midnight has acquired tue North American rights to Dutch-Maluku filmmaker Jim Taihuttu‘s latest noir crime thriller, Wolf. The film, Taihuttu‘s first solo-directorial kickoff for Netherlands-based production company Habbekrats, received mostly positive reviews since beginning its film festival circuit run at San Sebastiàn and Fantastic Fest last month.
Actor Marwan Kenzari stars along with Chems Eddine Amar, Nasrdin Dchar, Bo Maerten, Raymond Thiry and Cahit Ölmez, with stunt/fight coordination by Simon van Lammeren. XYZ Films is currently handling distribution outside the U.S.. Stay tuned for further updates.
