FAILSAFE Adaptation In The Works At Netflix, Michael B. Jordan To Possibly Star

More film news is rolling out as of Monday over Vault Comics following last week’s reports of Heathen. Created by F.J. DeSanto, Federico Dallocchio and Todd Farmer, Failsafe is the name, currently the subject of an auction win by Netflix following procurred interest that stemmed from the box-office success of Black Panther with exclusive word from Mike Fleming Jr. at Deadline that the Marvel film’s co-writer, Joe Robert Cole, will adapt based on the 2017 publication.

When he executed the last nanotech-enhanced super soldier, John Ravane thought that was the end of the haywire Insurgence Program. Ten years later, in the wake of social unrest, its true legacy is revealed. As sleeper agents scattered throughout the country activate, Ravane must stand between a government he cannot trust and the soldiers he once hunted.

Black Panther co-star Michael B. Jordan, currently reprising the title role in Creed 2, is set to produce the film with Outlier Society partner Alana Mayo and Vault’s own DeSanto. Further news will determine by the time Jordan arrives to Cannes with his latest dystopian thriller, Fahrenheit 451, if he will involve himself in a starring capacity.
