Fantasia Debuts New Poster For The 30th Edition!
We are officially one month away from the first wave of titles to be announced for the 30th edition of Fantasia International Film Festival. That means it’s festival season on our end and if all goes well, I’m gonna be busy in the best way.
To this, we now have the official key art for this year’s events, created by Donald Caron in his 17th collaboration with the organization. I’m astonished that I’ve been able to keep up with this festival for as long as I have, and I’m real thankful to the press team for keeping me and mine in the loop, so I’m looking forward to the coverage, and the films, especially.
Check out the artwork below and get all kinds of excited!
02 April 2026 // Montréal, Quebec — The Fantasia International Film Festival returns to Montréal this Summer to celebrate its epic 30th anniversary from July 16th to August 2nd, 2026.
In advance of May’s first wave title announcements, the festival is proud to reveal its 30th edition poster art, painted once more by Montréal visual artist Donald Caron. It marks his 17th poster for Fantasia.
A colorful take on the Weird Sisters from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Greece’s classical Three Fates, and Gustav Klimt’s 1905 painting The Three Ages of Women, Caron’s art depicts three generations of sorceresses, one for each of Fantasia’s three decades. They gather joyously around a cauldron, summoning the festival’s iconic Cheval Noir through tendrils of mist.

Native New Yorker. Been writing for a long time now, and I enjoy what I do. Be nice to me!
