Andy Lau’s recent hospital stint has certainly kept him relevant and in the good graces and best wishes of fans after a bad horse riding spill back in January. Currently out of the hospital and on the mend, the good news arrives timely in the wake of the latest trailer now online for the new action thriller, Shock Wave, opening next month in Asia.
Director Herman Yau’s sits at the helm for the movie, setting the stage in Hong Kong’s Cross Harbour Tunnel wherein Cheung (Lau), a senior explosives bureau inspector lands in a standstill with a vengeful terrorist whose younger brother and allies were jailed following an undercover op led by Cheung years earlier. Also starring are Jiang Wu, Song Jia, Phillip Keung, Felix Wong, Liu Kai-Chi, Babyjohn Choi and more.
