FOX HUNT Trailer: Leo Zhang’s Long-Awaited Anti-Corruption Thriller Finally Gets Its Release Friday
Bleeding Steel helmer Leo Zhang’s long-awaited crime thriller, Fox Hunt, is finally in toe with an April 4 release in China after an extensive delay from its initial 2021 release plans. The film stars Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Duan Yi Hong, Zhang Ao Yue, Olga Kurylenko, and Erica Xia-Hou.
Fox Hunt follows the story of police officers in a cross-border pursuit to arrest and repatriate criminals that have fled overseas. The film takes its cues from “Operation Fox Hunt,” a real-life operation launched in 2014 by China’s Ministry of Public Security to apprehend fugitives suspected of committing financial crime.
There’s no word on a U.S. release as of yet, but I imagine this could happen in due time. Check out the trailer below!
