[UPDATE] French Action Revisits Familiar Territory In The New Full Trailer For BRICK MANSIONS

Within hours of the exclusive ET debut of the first footage of Luc Besson protege Camille Delamarre‘s directorial debut, Brick Mansions, the new trailer arrived online which you can check out below. Fans may recognize several glimpses in the shots throughout the trailer as the film is modeled off of it’s initial incarnation, the 2004 French action hit, Banlieue 13, which fans may enjoy depending on how they see remakes as of late.

Brick Mansions sets the latest precedent for actor David Belle (Babylon A.D.) who reprises his role from the first film and its sequel, Banlieue 13: Ultimatum, starring as a streetwise insider on a mission to take down a notorious drug dealer. Joining him is late actor Paul Walker in his final completed performance, in place of Banlieue 13 actor Cyril Raffaelli as an undercover cop assigned to go in and foil a terrorist plot being conceived by the same criminal, performed by actor RZA who replaces actor and co-writer Bibi Naceri.
The film also stars Catalina Denis, Carlo Rota, Ayisha Issa, Gouchy Boy and Robert Maillet and bows on April 25, 2014, almost a year before Walker‘s final big screen exit in the upcoming film, Fast And Furious 7.
SYNOPSIS:

Chicago Suburbs: Nobody has control over Brick Mansions. Damien, an undercover cop, is facing an extreme mission: a mass-destruction weapon was stolen by Tremaine, the most powerful drug dealer in the Ghetto and Damien needs to infiltrate the gang to defuse the bomb. To accomplish his mission, he needs help from someone who knows well Brick Mansions: Lino, an expert at getting out of trouble with his extraordinary agility. Lino has had problems with the police in the past, but needs the mission to rescue his sister abducted by Tremaine. Will he accept joining forces with Damien?…Will they succeed in bringing down Tremaine?
