Crowdfunding is already underway for Frost Road, a brand new graphic novel thriller from PCB Entertainment and Dead Meat. The two labels are partnering together to release the graphic novel exclusively via Kickstarter, marking PCB President and Creative Director Keith Arem’s latest succession since partnering with actor Wesley Snipes on their graphic novel launch, “Exiled.”

Frost Road weaves a narrative that blends the emotional intensity of The Last of Us, the chilling atmosphere of A Quiet Place, and the unsettling dread of Silent Hill, all centered around one haunting question:
What if the world ended—and no one could hear it?
A man wakes up in the wreckage of a car crash, his memory shattered. Nearby, the town of Frost Road is eerily silent. Buildings stand abandoned. Vehicles are frozen mid-escape. And the few survivors left are barely clinging to their sanity.
Something is happening. Something unseen. An invisible signal that warps the mind, turning people into violent husks of themselves. The only person immune is a local woman with her own dark past, and a prisoner who clearly knows more than he’s saying. Together, they have one goal—escape Frost Road.

There’s a lot of meat to chew through in terms of details over at the book’s Kickstarter page, and that’s not a bad thing. Details are great. Arem and his team come armed with years and tons of experience in multi-media, and the promo trailer they’ve released at the time of the campaign launch looks both enticing and promising.
