GAYONG 2 Gets A New Trailer Ahead Of April Malaysian Release
Director Faisal Ishak’s period action saga of late continues next month with the release of martial arts epic, Gayong 2, and the newest official trailer is here. Ishak directs from a script he wrote featuring Beto Kusyairy once more in the lead role and based on the life of Silat Gayong founder Meor Abdul Rahman.
Gayong 2 follows martial arts master Meor on his enlistment with Singapore police upon returning to the region in 1950. It is here where our hero is locked in arms with an unscrupulous British police chief and forced to tackle criminals on both sides of the law while fighting to protecting his family.
The film also stars Nabila Huda, Syafie Naswip, Fauzie Laily, Hanna Aqeela, Bobby Tonelli, Rabbit Chen, and Sandra Lim among the cast. Gayong 2 opens on April 9 in Malaysia.
