I would say seven minutes is awfully long for a trailer, but this is what’s being doled out ahead of a release of twenty minutes of watching Alibaba founder Jack Ma go toe-to-toe with the best and biggest in film fighting and sports in his shortfilm debut, Gong Shou Dao. No sign of Master Yuen, Tony Ching or Sammo, but we do get the rest of our fighting cast in full form with Ma in fighting garb joined by Donnie Yen, Wu Jing, Tony Jaa, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jacky Heung, Zou Shiming and Asashoryu Akinori.
Of course, we also get Ma’s TaijiZen cohort, action star Jet Li putting in work in a recent and rare show of screenfighting since cutting back over the last four years due to health concerns. It’s a seven-minute feast for the eyes and a feasible morsel to endulge until its full release, so have a looksy!
