GOOD BOY Trailer: Mans’ Best Friend Stars In The New Thriller From IFC Films and Shudder
I’m nary into horror or any of the sort, but there are few things that could pull me into doing PR for a particular title. Leave it to an adorable retriever named “Indy” who’s been garnering buzz in recent memory as the star of Ben Leonburg’s new thriller, Good Boy, which IFC Films and Shudder are handling distro for.
A loyal dog moves to a rural family home with his owner Todd, only to discover supernatural forces lurking in the shadows. As dark entities threaten his human companion, the brave pup must fight to protect the one he loves most.
Joining Indy on screen are Larry Fessenden, Arielle Friedman, Shane Jensen, Anya Krawcheck, and Stuart Rudin. Select screenings are running in the U.S. with Leonberg in attendance at New York City’s Walter Reade Theatre on Tuesday at 6:30pm. The film opens in the UK on October 10.
