Help Kickstart Kevin Barile's Action Thriller Feature Debut, SAVING SARA

Acclaimed independent filmmaker, actor and martial artist Kevin Barile has been on my radar for a few years now, having worked on numerous shortfilms and just recently designing action sequences with fight choreographer Mario Rocha for actor Matthew Karedas’s return in Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance. Currently Barile is readying his latest short, Fight For Your Life, for a premiere this week at the Action On Film Fest in Monrovia, California while gearing up to host a martial arts choreography seminar there this Friday as well.

In the meantime, Barile has a few things he’d like to make clear in officially stating his case with Rocha to produce their feature film debut, Saving Sara. The film previously introduced a test clip many months ago with actor Mark Craig presenting his leading action role appeal opposite Rocha, and now we have a concept trailer that further speaks volumes to its depth with a story centered on the lives of two young girls at stake at the hands of a demented mother who kidnaps an innocent man’s daughter and holds her hostage in order to help save her own from her abusive husband, played by Carl Van Meter.
The film is poised to shoot in Barile‘s own hometown in Connecticut to help provide the necessary scenery for the film’s overall ambience. However, the rest is up to whatever the prospects may be for the film’s current Kickstarter campaign which officially launched today in conjunction with the movie’s new website.
Watch the riveting new concept trailer below and visit the Kickstarter link right here where you can watch the action packed campaign video, as well as learn how to donate in exchange for some great possible perks, including film credits, speaking roles, and martial arts lessons from Barile himself.
