HYBRID STORM Unravels The Mystery Of Chess Boxing In The Official Trailer
Further spinning off the Louis Koo-led Storm pentalogy is Hybrid Storm, the incumbent sequel to last year’s high crime thriller, Crypto Storm. Terry Ng directs the follow-up with a cast led by Kevin Cheng, Herbert Wu, Annie Liu, Adam Pak, and more ahead of the film’s November 13 release in Hong Kong.
Hybrid Storm hails from Mandarin Motion Pictures and follows ICAC Chief Investigator Tak-Ming (Cheng) whose life and career are thrust into tumult when he is framed for corruption, upon investigating a boxing gym and its role in the smuggling of cigarettes. Ng directs from a script by Wong Chi-Wai, Wong Ho-Wah, and Cheung Chun-Ho.
