IDENTIFICATION: Don’t Miss The Teaser And Trailer For Serik Beyseu’s New Sci-Fi Action Noir!
Neo-noir cyberpunk is on the menu these days for fans anticipating Serik Beyseu’s new film, Identification. The film opens in Russian cinemas next week starring Anton Pampushny, Evgeniy Sidikhin, Victoria Agalakova, Anastasia Reznik, and Anton Lavrentiev.
A man wakes up in a hospital room and discovers that he remembers nothing about his past, and that a neurochip has been implanted in his brain. Trying to figure out who erased his memory and why, he realizes that he has become a pawn in a sophisticated game where no one can be trusted, and the lives of his loved ones are under mortal threat.
I stumbled upon this one months ago but there wasn’t anything in the press for it except for a poster. Happy to say that some promo footage has been out for about a month now and the vibe matches about as much as what they keyart alludes to. Definitely apropos to the sci-fi crowd at large.
