If you’ve been on YouTube for the past week or so (with exception to yesterday afternoon), you’ve probably bumped into a few videos listed in mobile gaming console company, MOGA’s “Mobile Game Pain” series. Well, there’s a pattern, and it pertains to a contest hosted by Freddie Wong for filmmaking qualifiers to win 6 Red Scarlet X Camera packages and a cash prize of up to $25,000, provided that each shortfilm included three elements, a cat, a pie and a famous movie quote to highlight the many issues faced while playing mobile games, like the game freezing and crashing, and the battery dying during game play.
The trial period for this particular round ended on Monday since it began Tuesday of last week, and guess what? TODAY IS VOTING DAY! So while we are at it, I managed to find at least three shortfilms that may garner your interest. Of course, there are plenty more as a Red Scarlet X Camera seems to be in demand, not to mention the matter of winning $25K to put in the piggy bank.
