INFECTION Terrorizes In Flavio Pedota’s Debut, Now Available In The U.K.

When it comes to horror films, there are several different subgenres including “virus horror,” which I used to be more excited about before the Covid pandemic. However, a new virus horror film was produced before the pandemic, so I’m still going to watch it and give it a chance.

Infection is written and directed by Flavio Pedota and, according to the press release, this film has won awards including Best Film at the Panama Horror Film Festival. Here is the synopsis:

A doctor is separated from his son when an outbreak of a new virus starts turning people into blood thirsty crazies. Navigating his way through plague-infested streets and marauder-filled countryside, he must use every resource to find his only child and discover a cure for the deadly disease.

The trailer shows the involvement of the World Health Organization and shows the fast spread of this mysterious illness. What is it? Do the hospitals and governments respond accordingly? If you want these answers, you have to watch the film.

Infection is available in the UK now on DVD and digitally from Amazon, iTunes, and more from Danse Macabre.
