John Travolta Gets Biblical In The New Trailer For Revenge Thriller, I AM WRATH

Save for a bad hairdo, actor John Travolta looks pretty doable here in Chuck Russell’s latest, I Am Wrath. The film took a few years to develop before finally rolling cameras last year with locations in Alabama and several in Ohio, including Columbus where fans aplenty got a few selfie opportunities of their own.

Aside from the hype, the film presents a workable screenplay from co-star Paul Sloan who is easily one of the most prepared film professionals on his way up on both sides of the camera. For this, we get a nice, seasoned pairing of our lead along with Christopher Meloni in this newest and gruesome tale of crime and vengeance, and we now have a trailer to help show for these efforts.
SYNOPSIS:

Unemployed engineer Stanley Hill (John Travolta – Pulp Fiction, People Vs OJ Simpson) witnesses the brutal murder of his wife Vivian (Rebecca De Mornay) who was attacked by thugs in a parking garage. Wracked with guilt, Stanley is haunted by the image of Vivian dying in his arms. When Detective Gibson (Sam Trammell) and other corrupt police officers are unable and unwilling to bring the killers to justice, Stanley turns to his old friend Dennis (Christopher Meloni) and decides to take matters into his own hands. It is only then that Stanley and Dennis are found to have a mysterious past that, until now, they have kept very well hidden.

As they inflict their revenge, those involved in the cover up realise that Stanley and Dennis are more dangerous than they could ever have imagined…

The film is poised to release in April and May in the U.S. and U.K. respectively. Check out the trailer below with a dose of Voodoo Child to help garner your interest some.
