Kellan Lutz Promotes THE LEGEND OF HERCULES

If you’re a big fan of actor Kellan Lutz, and sword and sandals, action and adventure cinema, chances are you’re preparing to join the onslaught of moviegoers heading to theaters this Friday for the forthcoming release of director Renny Harlin‘s newest fantasy mythology action adventure epic, The Legend Of Hercules.

Lutz, who will appear in the upcoming action thriller, The Expendables 3 later this year, has been hitting the presses to promote the film in which he plays the titular role, a demigod betrayed by his Zeus and sold into slavery when his forbidden romance with King Amphitryon’s daughter is discovered. In a recent interview with Collider, the actor also expressed his excitement for director Brett Ratner’s take on Hercules, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and releasing this August. “For me, I’m obsessed with mythology movies, and I wish there was a plethora of these movies, …I’d watch ’em all!” says Lutz. “I’m just excited that our movies are different and that there are multiple stories of Hercules being told. The Rock’s is quite different. It’s The Thracian Wars, which are the older stories of Hercules. This is the origin, so it sets it up.”

ComingSoon.net recently had the chance to sit for a few minutes with Lutz to talk about The Legend Of Hercules, which will release in select countries worldwide, with a theatrical release in 2D and 3D on January 10, 2014 in the U.S., courtesy of Summit Entertainment. You can also catch some more interviews in the embeds below with some of the cast and crew.
