Undoubtedly one of the biggest and most long-awaited reruns in film history is set to return to theaters with Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair on December 5. Lionsgate has the official trailer out following a poster announcement the eve before.

What I want the most is the House Of Blue Leaves presented in color in this version. I doubt we’ll get that though, but a guy can dream. This film, along with The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon helped usher in a new era of action cinema at the top of the millenium, and what better way to celebrate this bit of history than with a full cut of Tarantino’s crowdpleasing nod to spaghetti western, wuxia and chambara cinema? And in 70mm and 35mm screenings, at that!
