KILLER 11 Campaign Launches On Indiegogo
Crowdfunding is officially underway at Indiegogo for hitman-on-hitman action thriller, Killer 11. Jon Alagoa and Shinji Ishigaki are set to star alongside Tom Smart for the flick which is being directed by award-winning filmmaker Aeddan Sussex.
In ”Killer 11”, we have the character Bret Infinity, played by Alagoa, attempting to improve his rank as a hitman, so he is challenging Okinawa Jin, an actor and swordsman played by Ishigaki, to a duel. The challenger not only has to pay for the location of his opponents choosing, but also fight using their weapon of choice, in this case the katana. Organising proceedings is Christian Foo, played by Tom Smart, an enigmatic representative. Given their main profession, only one of them will make it out alive.
The action will take inspiration from exciting sword fighting films such as the live-action Rurouni Kenshin moves, The Swordsman (2020), Uprising, Zatoichi (2003), as well as John Wick 4, not to mention Samurai Champloo and of course, the No More Heroes games series. The film has a contemporary setting, so the aim is to create a fight that’s not only thrilling, but offers something unique. I always make every beat of the choreography reflect the story and characters, so you will see Bret’s brash and unorthodox nature clash against Jin’s stoic demeanour and refined swordplay.
The plan is to raise their target goals between now and early March, and the campaign has also launched a promotional reel culminating their work to help stir the fervor some. Check it out below and hit up Killer 11 on Indiegogo to lend your support.
