Well Go USA put good word out to its loyal subscribers and adoring Jackie Chan fans, making official the January 27 release of his latest film, Kung Fu Yoga from director Stanley Tong. This, on the heels of opening this weekend’s Railroad Tigers by director Ding Sheng should make January a great month to be a Chan fan.
SYNOPSIS:
Jack (Jackie Chan), a world-renowned archaeology professor, and his team set out on a grand quest to locate the lost ancient Indian treasure of Magadha when they are ambushed by a team of mercenaries and left for dead. Using his vast knowledge of history and kung fu, Jack leads his team on a race around the world to beat the mercenaries to the treasure and prevent an ancient culture from being lost forever.
Lay Zhang, Aarif Rahman and Ileana D’Cruz also star with Sonu Sood starring as the principle villain. Next on deck for this, I expect, will be updates for The Foreigner which should definitely carry Chan fans over some.
