MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: By The Power Of Grayskull, Watch The Official Trailer!
Travis Knight’s take on the Mattel IP with Masters Of The Universe now lands an official trailer following a tease on Wednesday. The film marks just the latest and probably long-awaited live-action adaptation following the 1987 cult classic starring Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella.
Masters Of The Universe stars Nicholas Galitzine in the title role with a theatrical release on June 5 from Amazon MGM Studios. Also starring are Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, and Charlotte Riley alongside Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto, with Jared Leto and Idris Elba, and featuring action sequences by Vi-Dan Tran (Knights Of The Zodiac, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.
