Matt Damon And Paul Greengrass Will Reunite For More BOURNE

It’s been about a year since the most recent reports suggested, and then denied any possible attempt of reteaming director Paul Greengrass and actor Matt Damon for another installation of the Bourne franchise following the first trilogy…

Oh, what a difference a year makes!

It appears that Greengrass and folks at Universal were keeping a lid on things at first, and now Deadline is breaking the news that he and Damon are, in fact, on the pathway to another film of the franchise based on late author Robert Ludlum’s work. The Greengrass/Damon film is being tentatively dated for July 16, 2016, which was around the same day that director Justin Lin’s Bourne installation starring The Bourne Legacy (2012) lead actor Jeremy Renner was set to release after being pushed from its August 2015 date.

Things are still early so there’s nothing set in stone, but as it stands, it looks like this is happening. Stay tuned for more information!
