Meet SHILO And His Two Friends In The New Trailer!

Martial arts instructor, actor and debut director Edwin S. Nichols III‘s career is definitely one to keep an eye on in the months to come. Following principal photography in the first half of 2014, Shilo marks the debut project kicking things off over at his Austin-based Living Heart Productions, LLC banner, aimed at creating feel-good cinema with positive and enlightening messages.

Here, Nichols III‘s screenplay lands him in the title role as a troubled drifter with a mysterious past who finds himself inspired by  an ill young boy whilst coming to terms as the last line of defense for a family about to lose their land. Atomic Eden co-star and filmmaker Everett Aponte serves as co-director with Nichols III himself designing the fight sequences, and considering a premise like this, it appears Shilo is just the kind of underdog tale that fans of hard-hitting action and poignant family drama can enjoy. Think films like Road House and Blood And Bone, and you’ll get the idea.

Shilo is heading for a market push this year in search of distribution, so feel free to check out the trailer and keep your eyes peeled for this one at its official Facebook page!
