Michelle Rodriguez Teases Fight Action From The FAST AND FURIOUS 7 Set

Following exciting news of director Justin Lin‘s explosive box office exit with the success of Fast And Furious 6 making headway for the Peoples’ Choice Awards, Michelle Rodriguez tweeted the next level of her filming regiment replete with feisty MRod cutness shared in her latest picture from the Georgia set of Fast And Furious 7.

Fans of number six will remember Rodriguez during her previous bout with cinematic action star, actress Gina Carano during their hardcore tests of skill and will in the escalator fight that was exceptionally put together by then-fight coordinator Olivier Schneider.

This time around, the elbow-dropping, knee-flying pound-for-pound action sequences will be overseen by Joel Kramer, the recipient of major vocal support on Facebook from fellow co-star, international action sensation Tony Jaa. Also joining in the film’s pivotal fight exchanges will be Vin Diesel, in addition to Hercules: The Thracian Wars star Dwayne Johnson, and actress Ronda Rousey and actor Jason Statham, fresh from the set of The Expendables 3, which should prove to be a good entree for anyone looking for some good hand-to-hand fight action amidst the film’s signature high speed car chases highlighting director James Wan‘s vision for a gritty 70’s-style action revenge spectacle to kick off the third trilogy of the franchise.

Universal Pictures releases the film on July 11, 2014, casting Rodriguez, Jaa, Diesel, Rousey and Statham along with Paul Walker, Jordan Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Christopher Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou and John Brotherton. Meanwhile, development is underway with Fast franchise helmer Lin off to executive produce the pending Highlander reboot, in addition to staking his vision for the next Bourne film from a script by Anthony Peckham and actor Jeremy Renner returning.

Fast And Furious 6 arrives on VoD and DVD/Blu-Ray on November 19 and December 10, respectively.
