Gangland thriller Oasis marks a feature directing debut for filmmaker Takuro Iwaya, with a Fall theatrical release set TBA. The first official trailer and key art are here as well with a new look at lead actors Hiroya Shimizu and Mahiro Takasugi of live-action Tokyo Revengers and Kakegurui franchise fame.
Oasis follows an incident that sees former friends Hiroto (Shimizu) and Kanamori (Takasugi) part ways, rising in the ranks over the years as rivals in the criminal underworld. The film hails from Glasgow 15, The Klockworx, and SPOTTED PRODUCTIONS, and is produced by Fujimoto Shinsuke, Mae Shinsuke, and Naoi Takatoshi, and features action sequences by Obara Tsuyoshi.
