Oxide Pang’s FLASHOVER Sets Ablaze With A New Teaser

Hong Kong-based Universe Films has quite the bundle for moviegoers braving theatrical releases this year as distributors continue to follow-up with long-delayed titles. Oxide Pang’s latest firefighter drama, Flashover, for one, now sets sail for a likely July 8 release this year according to the key art below, and at long last, we have a teaser to share which you can view above.

A mild earthquake ignites a disastrous explosion in a chemical plant, which wipes out the entire industrial zone. A group of firefighters put their lives on the line to combat the blaze that is to devour the neighbourhood and demand sacrifices…

Pang is already at the helm for another actioner which we’ll get to at another time. For now, he’s got leading man Du Jiang who is no stranger to the firefighter subgenre of resuce thrillers having previously starred in Tony Chan’s explosive hit, The Bravest. Also starring are Wang Qianyuan (Caught In Time), Tong Li Ya (Detective Chinatown), Han Xue (The Golden Doll), Yu Haoming and Elvis Han (The Battle At Lake Changjin 1 & 2).
