PLAYER AGENCY: ASDO’s New Rec Room Action Adventure Gets An Extended Story Trailer

Indie film banner Art School Dropouts unveiled a full story trailer on Wednesday for their new feature, Player Agency. Creative head Joey Min directs a cast he also joins on screen led by Kage Yami, Stephanie Pham, Angela Jordan, and Shaun Williams.

Player Agency, the second feature film for the label after 2019’s Hong Kong spoof, Yes, Auntie!, is a collective filmmaking effort by Art School Dropouts via their Rec Room Builder and Discord communities. As such, the film is mostly shot in a virtual medium, woven together with live-action story segments.

The film follows a jobless, depressed introvert whose friend proffers him an opportunity to gain his confidence back with the help of a virtual RPG. In it, our hero finds himself questing with a band of heroes to rescue the kingdom their in from a tyrannical Lich King hellbent on absolute rule.
