Five new international posters have made their way online ahead of the upcoming December 13 release of director Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug. The posters arrive just after a new clip was unveiled with actors Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving, Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage.
The posters also arrive just days before the upcoming limited theatrical special November 4 worldwide Q & A event at 2:00pm PST/ 5:00pm EST for the movie with director and select cast members appearing with CNN host Anderson Cooper, in addition to the arrival of the extended DVD and Blu-Ray of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. And as a forenote for concerned Marvel fans, reports indicate that the first teaser for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be playing in front of the film-just one other reason to go and see it I guess. 🙂
The sequel will also star angry dragon-faced actor Benedict Cumberbatch along with Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Evangeline Lilly, John Bell, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, Ryan Gage, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Graham McTavish, Michael Mizrahi, James Nesbitt, Dean O’Gorman, Lee Pace, Mikael Persbrandt, Ken Stott and Aidan Turner.
