Watch A New B-Roll Featurette For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2!
It’s official, folks. The award for waaaay too many trailers and TV spots has to go to director Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I have to say, it’s been an adventure trying to keep up with the promotional campaign for this one, and I don’t even think I was able to share the latest official trailer for it. So, I’m more at ease knowing that this film is on its last legs of promotion after just debuting in Europe before its North American release on May 2.
Needless to say however, with an action packed X-Men mid-credits nod, in addition to Black Cat’s possible inclusion in Drew Goddard’s The Sinister Six, the production of Venom and all other Spidey related projects to remain on-going for another several years, we’re far from done with this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As for me, well, I think I’ll just leave you this 10-minuted complete B-roll below.
Enjoy!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Gets A New Extended International TV Spot
Unless you’re an avid comic book fan or an insider, there’s no telling what plans Kevin Feige has in store over at Marvel now that plans are underway for a slate of superhero movies to come between now and 2028. With more films on the way going into Phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in addition to other titles in the Spider-Man universe, one can only imagine what will come next. Personally, I’m still waiting on an R-rated Deadpool movie that Fox keeps promising. That just needs to happen, one way or another.
In the meantime, fans around the world have a new reason to gloss over the prominence of superhero summer blockbusters with director Marc Webb‘s latest contribution, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Opening on May 2, 2014, the film stars Andrew Garfield back in uniform, along with Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan and Paul Giamatti, with an interesting, operatic soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Pharrell Williams.
SYNOPSIS:
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” Peter Parker finds that his greatest battle is about to begin.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.

JKHH Films Saves The World In Their Latest Earth Hour Short, THE INFILTRATION
It was two years ago that a small group of Taekwondo students in Singapore became friends, each with unique, collective interests ranging from classic Jackie Chan and Hong Kong action films, to the visual stylings of filmmakers like Freddie Wong and trendsetters like traceur David Belle. Two years later, Joseph Chai, Kent Lee Joon and Hazlan Shah have established themselves as one of Singapore’s most active independent action film groups with their YouTube platform, JKHH Films, a place where they can showcase some of their on-set comedic antics accompanied by a comprehensive and growing understanding of fight choreography and stuntwork.
This week, the group continued their efforts with the release of their latest action short, The Infiltration, which centers on a rebel’s mission to save the Earth from a coup that has outlawed the use of LED lightbulbs. It’s like an interesting plot to work with, and it does come with a specific purpose as the team filmed the project to circulate into this year’s #UseYourPower2014 shortfilm competition being headlined this month by the World Wide Fund For Nature’s Singapore branch. Best known for its activity and efforts in environmental awareness, WWF recently made headlines several weeks ago, announcing Sony Pictures’ latest contribution of famous web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man as their newly installed ambassador in light of the upcoming Earth Hour event scheduled for March 29, 2014, making The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb its first celebrity ambassador to endorse their cause. Of course, this lends itself an opportunity for independent filmmakers in the country to get their work in front of the director, especially for the folks at JKHH.
