PROJECT SILENCE Official Trailer Teases One Of Lee Sun-Kyun’s Final Screen Performances

The film had its Out Of Competition premiere last year at Cannes, marking a significant move for the pic as Well Go USA made evident their acquisition that summer.
Little did anyone know that it would be the last we’d know of celebrated and award-winning actor Lee Sun-kyun, who faced months of scruitny before tragically passing away last December. The star of Kingmaker, Parasite, and Killing Romance is expected to appear posthumously in a few more titles after this, and that no doubt includes Kim’s new movie which now comes with a release date in South Korea for July 12.
A desperate battle for survival unfolds on the airport bridge as lives hang in the balance.
On his way to see his daughter off to study abroad, Jung-won finds himself trapped on the collapsing bridge amidst the dense fog. The communication is interrupted and the bridge begins to collapse. Moreover, unexpected threats are vigilantly awaiting an opportunity amidst dangers. Will the elderly couple on their way back from vacation, sisters who missed their flight, and everyone else crossing the bridge to the airport make it out safely?
Immerse yourself in a thrilling blockbuster as they battle against unrelenting disasters in their fight for survival.
