Little continues to be known about the international rollout plan for Bruce Khan’s latest return to the big screen, Revenger. It’s directed by Lee Seong-won and is set for a December 6 release which leaves South Korean moviegoers with a time table to guide their wait.
In the meantime, the internets have gifted us a clip of the film – a small tidbit to tease the carnage that lies ahead. Khan plays a man out to seek vengeance for his family’s murder, setting his sights on the remote grounds of a deadly prison island and its incarcerated hierarchy.
Revenger feels moreso like Khan’s calling card now as it makes the rounds since he earned praise for his earlier acting credit, The Last Eve. He’s worked on several notable credits with Jackie Chan in his earlier career and segueing to Young Man Kang in 2005, and apart from other Korean drama work he’s done, it’s a wonder what he’s been up to prior to this project.
At any rate, it’s good to see him back.
