REVOLVER LILY Locks And Loads For A January U.S. Release. Watch The Trailer!
It’s only taken two years since period espionage thriller Revolver Lily took to EFM for world sales but the Isao Yukisada-directed flick finally, FINALLY has a trailer for the U.S.. Well Go USA apparently snagged this one at some point and will release the film on January 27 on digital, followed by Blu-Ray and DVD exclusively through Amazon on February 10
Once upon a time, Yuri was one of Japan’s deadliest assassins, but she’s retired now and spends her days running an underground brothel. A news report about a former colleague who has died under mysterious circumstances doesn’t quite sit right. The dead man’s son is now the target of a military manhunt, and Yuri will do whatever it takes to keep him safe.
Revolver Lily is based on Kyo Naguara’s Kodansha Bunko publication, and is produced by Toei’s Muneyuki Kii and Daisuke Takahashi.
The film stars Haruka Ayase (The Legend And Butterfly) along with young actor Jinsei Hamura (Gold Boy) in his feature film debut, Hiroki Hasegawa (Shin Godzilla), SixTones member Jesse (Tokyo MER: The Movie), Kavka Shishido (Trillion Game), Kotone Furukawa (Cloud), Hiroya Shimizu (Tokyo Revengers franchise), Etsushi Toyokawa (Kingdom 2: Far and Away) and Jiro Sato (Bomb). Rounding out the cast are Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Asahi Uchida, Itsuji Itao, Isao Hashizume, Renji Ishibashi, Sadawo Abe, and Mansai Nomura.
