ROGUE: David S. Goyer Developing Female-Led CIA Op Thriller For STX, Tencent

There’s not much to go on here but Anthony D’Alessandro’s exclusive at Deadline is up for an original project called Rogue from Phantom Four’s David S. Goyer and Keith Levine. T.J. Fixman, who penned up to six game installments of the Ratchet & Clank franchise as well as a 2016 animated movie, wrote the film which is described as in the spirt of Die Hard and “follows a deep-cover CIA operative on the longest night of her life.”

Rogue is being set up at STX Entertainment with Tencent Pictures co-financing and shepherding its release in China. Fixman is also behind a number of projects that are in tow, including Dope helmer Rick Famuyiwa’s in-development vigilante actioner, Past Midnight with the Russo brothers producing, and John Wick franchise star, actor Keanu Reeves still attached to lead as of last March.
