Ryan Reynolds Demonstrates The Joy Of DEADPOOL 2 In A New Teaser

I’m inclined to take a little credit for this one, regardless of how deluded I sound. I tweeted at actor Ryan Reynolds maybe a year or two ago asking if he would be interested in playing the late television painter, Bob Ross, in a biopic. He never replied, although I’m keen on believeing that I’m probably not the only one who believed this and whatever the case may be, 20th Century Fox is now making this part of their marketing push for Reynolds’s forthcoming festive R-rated Marvel sequel, Deadpool 2, directed by David Leitch.

Thus, we have a properly-themed teaser founded on the classic series “The Joy Of Painting”, with none other than Reynolds donning his usual fourth wall-breaking comic book persona, beating (among other things) devils out of brushes while high as a kite. And not for nothing either as we also get a quick teaser montage in the final third of the teaser host to another look at last week’s poster, as well as footage of our titular merc with a mouth among with Josh Brolin as Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Karan Soni as Dupinder and more either new or returning for the film’s June 1 release next summer.

Peep it.
