SAMURAI VENGEANCE: Official Trailer Revealed For Takashi Minamoto’s New Adaptation Of The Hit Novel
It’s been a month and some change since I caught the teaser for writer/director Takashi Minamoto’s new chanbara crime mystery, Samurai Vengeance. Distributor Toei just revealed the official trailer as of Thursday which you can check out beneath the article, featuring Tasuku Emoto and Kenji Watanabe with a release set for February 27 from Toei.
On a snowy night, a lone samurai stains Edo crimson, achieving a ruthless vendetta. Beheading his father’s murderer, he raises the head, chilling elation in his eyes…, but it does not end here. A must-see samurai vengeance story, exploring the true meaning of honor and passion!
The film is based on author Sayako Nagai’s award-winning 2023 novel, and also stars Koji Seto, Kenichi Takito, Kensuke Nagao, Makiya Yamaguchi, Reika Manaki, Ayako Imoton Norimasa Tomiie, Shuhei Nomura and more for the film’s release. Check out the trailer below:
