SCARLET Teaser Revealed For Mamoru Hosoda’s Latest Coming In Winter 2025!

Celebrated animator Mamoru Hosoda (Belle, The Boy And The Beast) is staking his claim in 2025 with a slick and sweeping new feature in action adventure, Scarlet. The movie hails from Studio Chizu who announced the film last December, in a debut partnership with Sony Pictures for international release.

Plot details are thin but the logline bills the film as a story “will center on a strong princess named Scarlet who crosses space-time.” The film is produced by Yuichiro Saito and Nozomu Takahashi for Studio Chizu, and Toshimi Tanio for Nippon TV, and will open in Japan on November 21 from Toho, with Sony heading up global on December 12.
