SHADOW FORCE Illuminates A May Summer Release Date From Lionsgate
May 2 will be the day moviegoers can catch Shadow Force, the latest action thriller from director Joe Carnahan and starring Kerry Washington and Omar Sy. Deadline’s Anthony D’Alessansdro announced Lionsgate’s release date-slating for May 2 along with the film’s official title treatment you can view below:
Carnahan directs from a script he wrote with Leon Chills. Washington and Sy star in the respective roles of Kyrah and Isaac, who – according to the film’s logline – “were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force, but broke the rules by falling in love, and they go underground to protect their son with the rest of the Shadow Force hot on their trail.”
Da’Vine Joy Randolph also stars along with Method Man, Mark Strong, Krondon, Natalia Reyes, and Jahleel Kamara.
