SHOGUN’S NINJA Trailer: Koichi Sakamoto Returns This Month With More Kunoichi Hero Action!
I do miss the good old days when Koichi Sakamoto and the Alpha Stunts team were cooking on American soil. Still, I’m glad those guys have all gone on to build careers for themselves, including Sakamoto who’s been busy of late plying his trade in the Superhero ninja arena for a while now, and his latest effort, Shogun’s Ninja (not to be confused with Norifumi Suzuki’s OG 80s thriller) is no exception.
This is a story of the Tokugawa Shogun and the descendants of the legendary Fuuma Ninja that has not yet been discovered in history books…
The descendants of the legendary ninja clan “Fuuma”, which was supposed to have been wiped out in this country, are caught up in a succession issue that will determine the survival of the Tokugawa Shogunate!?

Sakamoto directs a cast of prominent Tokusatsu familiars of the Ultraman and Kamen Rider kind; Actresses Himena Tsukimiya and Kanon Miyahara star along with Nashiko Momotsuki, Fumi Taniguchi Fumi, Raiga Terasaka, Julia Nagano, Ryoma Hashiwatari, Katsuya Takagi, Seiji Takaiwa, and Fumino.
Shogun’s Ninja hails from Nippon Eiga Broadcasting and REMOW, in association with Toei Kyoto Studio. The film premieres on Kansai TV on March 20, followed by expected rollouts on Jidaigeki Senmon Channel NET, and the SAMURAI VS NINJA YouTube channel.
