Releasing just in time for Diwali is the long-awaited Bollywood blockbuster, Sooryavanshi, the latest ambitious step in director Rohit Shetty’s “Cop Universe” which began with 2011 remake, Singham.
Joining actors Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and actress Katrina Kaif on screen, the film releases this week on November 5 in theaters on 1,300 screens in 66 countries, including North America from Reliance Entertainment, bookending a long delay held over from the film’s prior March 2020 date.
Rohit Shetty said: “I have waited for a long time to release ‘Sooryavanshi’ on the big screens and it’s heartening to get such a wide release across the world. I hope and pray that the audience will enjoy watching it in the cinemas with family and friends this festive season.”
