STREET FIGHTER Taps Four For Kitao Sakurai’s Live-Action Fighting Feature

The new Street Fighter film production has lined up Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, and Roman Reigns, according to an exclusive reported on Wednesday by Deadline’s Matt Grobar. The report comes following the attachment of Kitao Sakurai to direct the Legendary Pictures/Capcom project replacing Bring Her Back helmers Danny and Michael Philippou last year.

Wednesday’s casting details also confirm initial reports scooped by Nexus Point News back in April citing the production’s interest in Koji, star of hit series “Warrior” and recently in “Gangs Of London”, and Centineo of “The Recruit” fame. Plot details remain under wraps for the film as well as a release date following its previous removal from March 20, 2026 as of a few months ago.
