Welp, I made good use of my weekend with some great anime on top of work and a pair of reviews. Not much else really. Putting together the hit list was a bit weary since I couldn’t find anything in trailers or things of that nature. It’s definitely been a busy start to my November, but I can’t complain too much. Festival news has been rolling out with some great updates and I’m looking forward to doing something awesome later this week which should make for a wonderful little bookmark for my 2017. As for all else, The Hit List has arrived and you are more than welcome to take your time with this seven hour and fifty-minute adventure of indie action creative fervor and stunt excellence. Having extensively covered Universal Pictures’s famed Fast franchise, this week’s latest bit of coverage has to be the closest I’ve come. It’s primarily attributed to the forthcoming live show which kicks off in London in January and obviously with a film saga so action packed, of course it’s going to need a crew of some very talented stunt performers to take to task the very feats attendees can expect. My weekend was slow, but unnecessarily relaxing. Part of it included getting the prizes ready from our recent Blu-Ray giveaways for Iron Protector and The Prison and the latter contest ends in a matter of hours… I’m JUST saying… By the by, the Hit List is back and fashioning another round of great stunt reels and some of today’s best in independent online action. Caitlin Hutson jumpstarts the week with her latest parkour reel followed by actor Tien Hoang brandishing some sharp weaponry in his new training demo. I did something a little different this weekend while I was putting the Hit List together – at five reels, I decided to watch it all the way through and it was pretty refreshing since normally I watch mostly snippets in the course of browsing just to get a good feel of how it all plays out so I can work faster. I may change my approach there. ☺ Anyway, onward and forward we go for this week’s installment of The Hit List with the latest round of amazing stunt reels and various shortfilm projects, promotional or otherwise full in release.
