With the Marvel Cinematic Universe now venturing into its third phase and Netflix still heating things up, it’s only fair our heroes in ABC’s Agent Carter get the same growth. Hayley Atwell wholly steals the screen in the title role for the first film and its subsequent show, and nearly in the same capacity on social media throwing Dubsmash jabs at her fellow Marvel ilk between Comic-Con appearances and such, so it’s safe to say Marvel’s made the right decision here. Sony Will Reboot CHARLIE'S ANGELS With Elizabeth Banks Directing

Courtesy Of Sony I’ve never seen any of the Pitch Perfect movies (not exactly my cup of tea). However, the good news stemming from both films is the sequel’s huge success this year at the box office, a nod which goes to actress Elizatbeth Banks who debuted as director, and much to her credit as it’s now landed her in the position to direct another go-around at a reboot for Charlie’s Angels. According to The Wrap, the Hunger Games franchise co-star will also produce the film for Sony Pictures with her husband Max Handelman, based on the popular ABC series from 1976 to 1981 and centered on three women, accompanied by their associate, Bosley, who work various assigmments as private investigators for Townsend Agency at the best of actor John Forsythe’s speakerphone voice. Actress Priyanka Chopra takes the lead in this female-centric adventure as one of dozens recruits attending the nation’s toughest FBI training school, and with such a diverse and multi-angular cast of characters, you can definifely count on this one having its fair share of espionage, action and intrigue with the occasional plot twist or several. SYNOPSIS: A diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. New York State Will Be Home to Marvel/Netflix's THE DEFENDERS

As if Marvel did not have enough on its hands with its cinematic universe already in play, in addition to spanning the current Spider-Man film franchise with TASM 1 and 2 helmer Marc Webb already on board for part three with other directors attached to spin-offs, it’s pretty clear they’re not done blowing minds just yet. Following news unveiled in November last year, Marvel is getting the ball rolling on its upcoming series productions for Netflix with a new press release announcing their partnership with The Walt Disney Company and ABC Television studios. New Extended Promo For AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Today, we have a new series promo with extra footage to highlight the cast of the long-awaited television series, Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. from writer and executive producers Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, along with executive producers Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb. Actor Clark Gregg will star along with actresses Ming Na-Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge and Chloe Bennet, and actors Iain De Caestecker and Brett Dalton. Actress Cobie Smulders, who also played S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in THE AVENGERS may appear in the pilot, along with actor J. August Richards who is being speculated to possibly appear as Luke Cage. The series is scheduled for Tuesdays at 8:00pm EST this fall on ABC.
