Shudder Nabs BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL

Adding to my long list of reasons to get a subscription to Shudder, the streaming service has acquired rights to horror comedy Boys From County Hell. The film premiered at Sitges International Film Festival and just recently for the inaugural Nightstream Film Festival, and is now set to premiere on Shudder next year. Incontrol director Kurtis David Harder has endured a festive run in the festivals with his latest queer horror thriller, Spiral. Shudder is now running an official trailer ahead of the film’s exclusive release on AMC’s horror streaming service in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand beginning September 17. Well Go USA’s TRAIN TO BUSAN PRESENTS: PENINSULA Lands August 2020 Theatrical Release, Exclusive AMC Shudder Release In 2021

Yeon Sang-ho’s Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula will be heading to 150 theatrical screens throughout North America beginning August 7, in a major deal for Well Go USA, which also gives AMC’s Shudder exclusive streaming rights in early 2021. “Peninsula is one of the most anticipated horror movie sequels of the last decade and exactly the kind of film Shudder members are hungry for,” said Craig Engler, Shudder’s general manager. AMC’s Shudder is proudly launching director Jeffrey A. Brown’s newest supernatural horror, The Beach House, on July 9, 2020. The official trailer arrived last week as well, host to a cast that includes Liana Liberato, Noah Le Gros, Jake Weber and Maryann Nagel. Escaping to his family’s beach house to reconnect, Emily and Randall find their off-season trip interrupted by Mitch and Jane Turner, an older couple acquainted with Randall’s estranged father.
