Nicolas Benamou's French Road Flick, FULL SPEED Now In Post Production

French helmer Nicolas Benamou made headway in 2014 with his French comedy franchise, Babysitting, and its sequel is also a hit as of late last year. This, much to his credit, has set him on the path to something slightly different with the new road action dramedy, Full Speed, with backing by Marci Cherqui’s Chic Films and Thomas Langmann’s Oscar-winning La Petite Reine. According to Variety, Benamou describes the film as largely reflective of his influences rooted in Todd Phillip’s 2010 roadie, Due Date with tones similar to Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris’s 2006 road dramedy, Little Miss Sunshine and Jan de Bont’s 1995 hit, Speed.
